My favourite website… Atlas Obscura - It has random historical places and things that they share. I’ve discovered more fascinating places and things that I never knew existed.
My favourite app… a health app to track how many miles I walk daily - I aim for five miles a day. It’s easy to do in New York City.
My blog of choice… Four&Sons - An online and print publication where ‘dogs and culture’ collide – a read for high-brow dog lovers, it always reminds me how much our four-legged friends influence our creativity.
My favourite podcasts... Rachel Maddow and In Bed With Neil Moodie - Rachel Maddow because she is brilliant and always has a fascinating take on the news and all things political. In Bed with Neil Moodie, because he keeps me in the fashion loop and makes me laugh.
My most recent buy online... A salad spinner, lavender Epsom salts and hairpins from Japan.
My internet hero… I’m obsessed with the dog world (can you tell?) I adore @wolfgang2242. It keeps me laughing and loving our four-legged friends of every breed and size.
Book just downloaded/read... I don’t read online. I love holding books in my hands. I recently read George’s Simenon’s Maigret in Exile. I’ve read almost all of his brilliant mystery novels. And I just finished Willa Cather’s Song of the Lark. She is one of my favourite authors. My Antonia is one of my favourite novels ever.
Favourite tweeter… I’ve never looked at a tweet.
Favourite instagrammer… again, @wolfgang2242 - As I said, I love all things canine - @wolfgang2242 rescues senior dogs and also chickens and pigs and rabbits. His feed is not only hysterically funny and charming, but also generous of spirit and so loving to all creatures.
Social media allowed me to meet… Wonderful people through Instagram exchanges that I meet from time to time just walking around town. They always recognise Winky, from my Instagram @lindaandwinks.
Most worthwhile news feeds subscribed to… New York Times and The New Yorker magazine – I read them religiously.
Pet hate about life online… That it’s robbed all of our lives! I preferred life pre-internet to be honest. I think now most of us have become slaves to our devices.
